The Antigen Test is a screening test for SARS-Cov-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. It is tested by means of a swab, not a blood test. The Antigen Rapid Test is a preliminary tool used to screen for COVID-19 If the result is positive, it will need to be verified with a standard tool (Gold Standard) which is RT-PCR again.

Restriction

- You have to wait 3-5 days for more infections to be detected.
- Must have been infected for 5-14 days to be accurate.
